Day 1: Nairobi - Zanzibar

Take a flight from Nairobi to Zanzibar the most prominent place to be. One of our tour consultant/guide will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the hotel for overnight stay.

 Day 2: Stone Town

After breakfast, explore the stone town on foot, is often referred as "mji mkongwe" (Swahili word for old stone town) it's the oldest part of Zanzibar and home to some of the Island's most historic sites. Wander the narrow streets lined with pasted-colored mosques and old-school structures that showcase Persian, Indian and European influence.

Day 3: Venture some of Zanzibar most historic sites.

After breakfast, venture some of Zanzibar's most historic sites with our tour guide. Head to the birthplace of princess Salme, follow in the footsteps of her loyal Arabian family while visiting what remains of the Persian baths, courtyard and botanical gardens. Then head to house of wonders where artifacts from the Island's long and colorful history are on display. get a better sense on how the past and the present culture have shaped Zanzibar to a unique destination. Complete your day by heading to the old fort for a live performance of traditional dance and music.

Day 4: Tour the Spice Island

Zanzibar is known for it's spices, so after breakfast take a guided journey to some of the famous plantations that produce cloves, henna, rose, apples, guava, cinnamon and vanilla. Learn about the medicinal purpose of potent herbs and how the history of the spice trade influenced the development of modern Zanzibar. Take in rural scenery while talking to local farmers and sample a traditional home - cooked meal as part of what will likely be a memorable part of any visit to Zanzibar.

Day 4: Zanzibar - Arusha - Nairobi
